Identification of key war criminals of BARS-35 «Skif»

The OsintFlow team located and identified a group of war criminals from the Bars-35 «Skif» battalion, which is part of the “Terek” brigade.
We were able to collect information and identify the personal data of the commander of the subversive reconnaissance battalion «Skif»,
who was listed as the CEO of an organisation founded by a company owned by Rosneft.

According to information in open sources, the Cossack battalion (CB) «Skif», which is part of the “Terek” brigade,
is fighting near Soledar and on the territory of the so-called ‘DPR’, although the occupiers themselves indicate that their fighters are fighting “on the fronts from
Kremennaya to Kinburn sandspit”. An analyst of our team geolocated some of the photos of the fighters, which allowed us to
identify their locations in July and November 2023, some of which will be published publicly:

The brigade is staffed by both russian citizens and foreigners. In particular, the enemy’s media in their reports and materials mentioned
a Nigerian with the call sign “Vanka” and his Syrian colleague with the call sign “Sad”. It is also worth to mention that it was the representatives of this
brigade told Kremlin journalists that “Polish mercenaries are forcing Ukrainian soldiers to attack the positions of the russian military
near Soledar”, and that “Poles and Latvians are generally at home here”.

The result of this “work” was the creation of a 400 military unit of the CB «Skif», which is part of the Terek Cossack Brigade.

The «Skif» or Bars-35 battalion is directly related to the Russian Space Society and many other structures.
In addition to ideological and military-political work with personnel, the brigade is particularly distinguished by its activities in
propaganda of loyalty to the existing regime in russia, calling it “patriotism”. War criminals are not only actively involved in
the unprovoked and unjustified Russian aggression against Ukraine, but also engage in ideological indoctrination of the local population,
including children.
