Born in the village of Sydorove, Sloviansk district, Donetsk Oblast, he obtained a Russian passport in Kursk in 2016. According to statements published by Russian media sources, Kudria claimed involvement in combat operations since 2014, while BARS-23 materials indicate his participation began in 2023. Before joining the unit, he worked in cargo transportation and has been registered as an individual entrepreneur since 2020 .
In 2023, reports published by Russian state-controlled media TRK Zvezda stated that the BARS-23 unit was deployed in the Vuhledar sector, including what it described as the “defense” of the village of Volodymyrivka against the so-called “Polish Legion.” In the same report, “Pchela” of BARS-23, presented as a unit member, commented on the use of cluster munitions, while other personnel described artillery strikes against Ukrainian Defense Forces.
